A wedding is one of the most exciting times in your life. However, you need to make sure you have the proper transportation in place to get you around in style. If you don’t find a solution in time, you could end up driving yourself to the reception and no one really wants that on their wedding day!

You may not be sure of what type of wedding transportation you need to help you get from place to place. That’s where Business Meets Style comes in to give you some tips that should help you make a great decision befitting of your wedding day.

Booking A Traditional Stretch Limousine

One of the most common types of transportation used in weddings is the tried and true luxury limousine. A limo is not only popular, but it’s one of the best ways that you can get around. From the wedding location to the reception hall, you can relax knowing you’re being transported in style and comfort!

Don’t hesitate to take a limo to the airport to get a kick off your honeymoon the right way. The good news is if you’re using a reputable limousine company they, tend to have a block between the driver and the back passengers for privacy during your transportation.

Our head writer at Business Meets Style, Aaron, was recently featured in a video for a local limo company here in the mid-west. They provide high quality wedding transportation in Kansas City and their team is one of a kind! Did you see the video? Horse And Buggy Style Transportation

A horse-drawn carriage is another unique form of wedding transportation. With a carriage, you may notice the romance blossom quite a bit more. A horse and carriage is much more traditional than a limousine for sure! The elegance held by this style of transportation has remained strong for hundreds of years.

The only downside is that you may only find these services in rural areas, downtown regions and not outside of a specific area. In Kansas City, the Country Club plaza uses horse drawn carriages by a company called KC Carriages.

Buses and Trolley Cars

Of course if you are going to be transferring more than just you and soon to be bride or groom, you certainly want to consider renting a bus or trolley car. The buses and trolleys are well equipped to handle multiple passengers and are typically full of many great features.

Drink holders, with sound and audio visual systems keep the fun and excitement during transportation. Alternatively, kick off the excitement early before the reception by getting one of these parties on wheels.

Think Outside of the Box!

Now what we’ve mentioned above are all standard wedding transportation options. Have you ever considered using something a bit more…outside of the box? Imagine taking bicycles to your wedding, or perhaps even golf carts, tractors, or a helicopter!

Consider your wedding’s theme and choose the best fit. For example, if you have a beachfront wedding you could have jet skis delivering the bride or the groom to the wedding ceremony. Or if you are having a superhero themed wedding, particularly DC, you could arrive to the ceremony in the Batmobile! No joke!

Well, the vehicle doesn’t quite match the theme, but in the end, it’s your wedding!

Locating great wedding transportation is not that much of a challenge. The challenge is in finding the solution that best suits your wedding’s theme. If you’re in the Kansas City area and need help finding great vendors to make your wedding day a success, give the KC Bridal Group a visit and tell em Business Meets Style sent you.

We wish a happy and unforgettable wedding!

  1. It makes sense that you would want to have a good way to get to and from your own wedding. Having a limo seems like a great way to be able to do that in style! That’s definitely something my son might want, since he’s going to be getting married soon.

  2. I appreciated your comments about using a limo for honeymoon transportation since it has that extra privacy factor, which would be important to a lot of couples! I’d imagine that some people prefer the autonomy of their own vehicle, but I don’t know that I would. If I were to get married soon, I’d probably prefer hiring a car and getting that star treatment on my special day.

  3. I loved how you suffered to get a horse-drawn carriage. My sister was telling me last night about how she wanted to find transportation for her wedding coming up in a couple of weeks, and that she wants to make it unique. I’ll make sure to pass this information along to her so she can look into getting a carriage for her wedding transportation!
